I always wanted the space to feel a home away from home. It still does.
the studio didn’t always look like this…
When I first found this space, it was very different to how it is now.
I transformed it from a cold grungy old band room to somewhere that felt warm, welcoming and a little bit different — somewhere that could hold all sorts of things, from creative projects and workshops to gatherings, conversations and quiet moments – a project of my own, and of many.
Like everything in life, I give it a good go. I love to learn, so I put of my boots and got down to business. Painting, decorating, installing, sourcing furniture, figuring things out as I went.
There’s still plenty I’d like to do, but that’s part of the story. It’s a space that’s grown with me, and I think you can feel that when you’re in it..
